What is CID?
The Chain Interlocking Suspension Device (CID) is a small lifting attachment that has become indispensable for assembly, repair, and maintenance work in the nacelle of a wind turbine. It won't be long before 10,000 of these little helpers are in use worldwide.
Any wind energy service technician can attach up to three units of the CID directly to the chain of the hoist above the existing hook rigging. Two tool bags or similar items, each weighing up to 100 kg, can be attached to the CID using the CID-Wire Rope Slings.
This is the only way to bring the required material up or down into the machine house in a single lifting operation. This time saving is the added value that pays off.

Pay attention to clear perspectives, clean framing, and a good visibility of the CID. Safety is always the top priority. Single images or series are permitted – the crucial factor is that the product is shown realistically, comprehensibly, and in its typical operating environment.
